We’ve teamed up with Foil Drive, the inventors of the electric Foil Assist, to integrate Foil Drive technology into our Sonar AF80 Masts for electric assistance hydrofoiling with minimal drag, improved ride feel, and enhanced efficiency.

The Integrated Masts have a Foil Drive Motor Pod pre-installed at one of three positions. An FDE-FOIL offers a complete E-Foil experience, while an FDA20 and FDA15 are “Foil Assist”, so the motor provides speed to lift up onto the foil, and then your foil takes over.

Purchase your Sonar FD Integrated Mast pre-assembled with a Foil Drive Motor from a Foil Drive retailer, and complete your assisted foiling setup with a Sonar Front Wing / Fuse / Stab. We recommend the SF Series, MAv2 Series and DW Series Front Wings.
