At North, we are committed to finding innovative solutions to help eliminate and prevent all plastic waste and marine litter. Our goal is to completely remove industry-standard materials like plastic from our packaging.
Every year, 8 million metric tonnes of plastic enters our oceans.

Rescued and Renewed
Every North Kite and Nova Wing Bag is made from an average of 33 recycled PET bottles. And we’ve teamed up with FlexFit to include ‘Rescued and Renewed’ hats in our Lifestyle Collection.

To date, North has recycled more than 3.07 million plastic bottles.
Every North T-shirt and Sweat is made from 100% Organic cotton, grown on farms without the use of any toxic and persistent pesticides or fertilizers. Organic cotton farms start by looking after the world beneath our feet - taking care of the soil and the tiny critters that help keep the earth healthy.

Jalou: A voice for the ocean
Whales and many other marine species face more threats today than at any other time in history. Three-times World Kitesurfing Champion Jalou Langeree has teamed up with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to protect these animals and the place they call home.
