FOILBOARD FOOTSTRAPS

North Foot Straps give riders a more secure connection to the board while still allowing easier release than boots or fixed bindings. They help with foot placement, control, take-offs, landings and fine-trimming the foil or surfboard. Foot straps are mainly used on Foilboards and Surfboards, where riders need control but still want freedom of movement.

Foil Straps - designed for foilboards, where precise foot placement, foil control and easier release during falls are important. They help riders find the right stance and fine-trim the foil while riding.

Surf Straps - designed for kite surfboards, where riders want more hold for water starts, chop, carving and powered turns.

Choose foil straps for Foilboards and surf straps for Surfboards.

Free Foil Straps - use a classic parallel strap layout with two standard footstraps. Ideal for wingfoil freestyle, aerial manoeuvres and riders who want a simple, direct strapped setup.

Free-V Foil Straps - use a V-shaped double front strap, which allows the front foot to sit closer to the centreline of the board for more control.

The V-shape also helps riders switch feet when tacking without needing double front straps.

Free-Lo Straps - low-profile minimalist straps designed especially for prone foiling, wing foiling and kite foiling. They lay flatter against the deck, which makes them useful when prone paddling or when riders want a lightweight strap that stays out of the way.

Free-V Lo Straps - combine that low-profile feel with a V-shaped front strap layout. This gives more foot-position guidance and allows a more natural stance when riding offline on both tacks.

The Free Surf Straps use North's KnitFlex inner material and allow riders to customise their fit and stance. They also have a flared rear strap so the screw can go on either side of the rear fin box, which helps with surfboard compatibility.
