Light Wind Freeride
The Trace has a progressive outline and large surface area for early planing and upwind performance in the lightest winds. The hybrid carbon construction provides torsional stiffness, while its balanced rocker outline and flex guarantees phenomenal pop for lightwind tricks and transitions, superb traction and control, and surprising manoeuvrability for its size.
Freestyle / Freeride
A high-performance board precisely engineered to push the boundaries and generate pop for aggressive freestyle moves. Greater traction allows you to hold that rail and edge harder, while the geometrically stiffer backbone enables more controlled takeoffs. The hybrid carbon construction ensures an ideal balance between stiffness and flex, while butter-soft tips reduce the impact load on landings and glide through chop.
Freestyle/Wakestyle
Designed for advanced wakestyle and park riders, with P-Tex grind base material for durability. Tom Bridge’s freestyle stick of choice has a high rocker to soften impact on hard, flat landings, controlled flex tips for smooth presses, quad channels for upwind tracking and maximum pop for technical tricks.
TwinTip Technology
Dynamic Flex
The flex characteristic of every TwinTip Board is determined by multiple features built into each specific design. Core thickness variations and taper, as well as detailing, longitudinally and laterally, play the most significant role in controlling the overall flex and feel. Board specific laminate layups then allow us to further fine tune the flex and board characteristics. We adjust the stiffness lengthwise and torsionally in conjunction with the rocker line, plan shape view and profile of the board, to give each board its specific performance characteristics.
Lightweight, Impact Resistant Eco Wood Core
Paulownia is a highly renewable hardwood species, with one of the highest strength to weight ratios. Ultra lightweight, with a high shear force and high impact resistance, Paulownia wood forms a non-toxic core which significantly displaces the amount of foam or resin used in manufacturing, thereby reducing carbon emissions. Each board has a customised core thickness individually fine-tuned to ensure its characteristics are consistent throughout the range, no matter your size or weight.
FlipTech Mounting
All 2023 and newer North TwinTip boards feature our new FlipTech Mounting System, with centreline inserts. This means if you wear out one side of your board, simply flip the bindings around for a fresh new heelside rail again. We recommend pairing your North TwinTip with the Flex or Flex Pro bindings.
Stainless M6 standardised hardware
Standardised SS316 M6x16mm hardware across all twin tip boards and accessories enables the use of the same PH3 screwdriver for assembly and makes replacement of parts super easy. North Multitool recommended.
Our refined carbon laminate layup delivers a dynamic and responsive high-performance ride. Crafted from layers of 10K woven carbon, 300gsm triax carbon and North exclusive 3DY-unidirectional carbon tapes, the Pro Carbon construction delivers an extremely fast and reactive response when loaded, with greater torsional and longitudinal board stiffness.
3DY Carbon Reinforcement
North exclusive 3DY Technology provides an extremely fast and reactive response when loaded, with greater torsional and longitudinal board stiffness.
We’ve run unidirectional carbon in the direction of the load paths to transfer the load from your bindings to the edge efficiently. The 3DY creates a stiffer beam between the bindings, contributes to the board’s lively feel and lower weight and delivers more pop without adding an unnecessary amount of stiffness. It also prevents the loaded tip from flexing and losing grip when edging.
