Born and raised in Guadeloupe, Tristan was in the water before he could walk. His father was a long-time sailing instructor, so he quickly embraced the world of windsurfing as his true passion. Guadeloupe’s vibrant watersports community left an indelible mark on Tristan, and he cherishes his childhood memories filled with unparalleled energy and exciting competitions.

Amidst becoming a pro windsurfer, Tristan pursued Business School in southern France. His daily bus rides to the spots were no small feat, especially for someone unaccustomed to the harsh winters of France. However, his time there sparked a deep interest in R&D within the windsurfing industry. This experience gave him a unique perspective on testing and experimenting with cutting-edge sails and boards.

Tristan’s respectful and present-minded nature is evident in his achievements. In January 2020, he accomplished a true milestone by becoming the first windsurfer to complete an uninterrupted circumnavigation of Guadeloupe. Using a foil setup, he persevered for an impressive 8 hours and 37 minutes, covering a challenging distance of 234 km.
