The ocean has always been a part of Sophia's life. At 18, she was inspired to learn to Kite Surf after a few lessons at a local kite school in Rio with Victor Gioranelli, "the best coach ever".

Her love for Kite Surfing and the ocean took over. "Thanks to the ocean, I am what I am today. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have it in my life".

Wind or no wind. Find Sophia at her local beach in Rio, Brazil beach or in the line-up. "you can find me surfing, spearfishing, playing Altinha at the beach or playing the guitar while watching the sunset with my friends.".

Always up for an adventure, Sophia says, "I love the feeling of riding a wave full-speed, doing a downwinder and getting to know places that you wouldn't be able to by car."  Sophia shreds it up on her 8m Carve kite and 5'7 Charge Surfboard, the "best combo for a perfect wave riding session".
