Chasing The Crown

In Chasing the Crown, we follow the North International Big Air Team on their journey toward the biggest prize in kiteboarding: the Red Bull King of the Air. From the qualifier series to the final showdown, experience the dedication and passion that drive the riders chasing kiteboarding’s ultimate title. In this series we show more then just the riders. We show the riders, who they are, and what it really means to them.

Episode one “Proving Grounds” is all about Francesca Maini and Nathalie Lambrecht. Their journey, personality, and riding style and all with an eye on the end goal of this season; Chasing the crown of the second ever woman’s devision at the Red Bull King of the Air.

“Last Man Standing” is the second episode of Chasing the Crown. This episode features North Big Air riders Cohan van Dijk, Marc Jacobs and Josue San Ferreira. We follow the team through Auckland, Tarifa and Denmark as they train, push their limits and prepare for the biggest event of the year.

In episode three “Pressure is a Privilege” we go to the Netherlands. On 15 September a massive storm hit the Dutch coast, which ment it was time for the Red Bull Megaloop 2025. With five North athletes in the fleet and it being a home game with having the North HQ next to the spot, the day delivered countless stories and we captured them all.

The fourth and final episode will be about the 2025 Red Bull King of the Air, and it’s almost go time! The most anticipated event of the season, which will run on the windiest day forecast between 22 November and 7 December.
